Inserts are available in sizes from 2” diameter to 4 1/2” diameter in 2 or 3 disk configuration. The size is based on the outside (OD) diameter of the pipe the Inserts are to fit into. Each application will be different. Some race applications have proven satisfactory with only a single disk insert. The use of CC Inserts allows the user to custom tailor the unit for his specific application. Car Chemistry, Inc. cannot guarantee that any specific application will meet the sound requirements of all municipalities or other governmental agencies. The wide variety of engine configurations and exhaust system designs preclude guaranteeing that all systems using CCInserts will be street legal.
