    After installing a pair of 3-Disk CC Inserts, this stainless steel packing gave me an additional 2dB reduction. The CC Insert + SS packing package gave the car a nice muscle car sound.

    Installed stainless steel wool and fiberglass packing on my 2 disk insert. Helped to reduce sound significantly but noticed that it is already starting to blow out the holes in the disk. There is a reference in the instructions to placing a screen in the insert to prevent this. Would very much appreciate some detail on how to do this.

    I had enough stainless steel wool provided to fill the baffles in a 4-disk, 2 1/4" silencer insert. Its use is pretty much self explanatory, but I unrolled the wool, split it length-wise, and wrapped each split piece of wool around the pipe between each baffle.

    Had installed an after market header and muffler system for my 2015 Slingshot. Great sound but too loud. Installed the Car Chemistry 2 disc insert. Helped a lot but still a bit too loud especially at highway cruising speed.

    Purchased the stainless steel packing. Installed material between the 1st and 2nd discs. Toned down the system a bit more which was find. Eliminated the loud drone sound at highway (interstate) speeds. Accomplished what I wanted to. Thank you Car Chemistry

    I installed CC's on the 4 tailpipes of shelby mufflers on my '13 mustang to reduce drone and sound...but it was not perfect, so I decided to add the SS packing... and end up perfect!
    right amount of v8 sound! you can "tune" the sound with the packing as you like.....
