These baffles are great for Street Rods, Hot Rods and Rat Rods with Zoomie or Funny Car style headers. The kit comes with 6" long baffles, that bolt in. The baffles are wrapped with high temp, long lasting, muffler packing. SB Chevy application with zoomie Funny Car style headers yielded a 10 decibel reduction in sound volume, and still had a deep aggressive hot rod rumble. Sold in kit of 8. Remember to choose your size from the drop down box above. Order according to the outside diameter of your pipe.
These items are BUILT PER ORDER and may take 14-21 days before shipping.
***Please note: CC Baffles are sized to the pipe OD (outer diameter). Due to different gauge steel used on exhaust tubing, the baffles may be a little loose or a little tight fitting. If they are tight, sand or grind a few .001” off of the edges of the baffles. Sometimes just removing the protective paint on the baffle will be sufficient. Please note: (some headers are manufactured with a brace across the tubes, this may slightly distort the pipe so that the baffles may have to be ground in those areas to slide into the pipe). Designed to fit 18 guage steel, if you have 16 gauge the baffles will need ground a little.

Have Sanderson Zoomies on my hot rod and the baffles sent were terrible. Did little to cut the noise and caused a high whining noise.
Ordered these after talking to customer service and they performed as advertised. Car has the right tone, yet they can still hear you coming!!

they did what they said they would! it made a difference on my 900hp blown sbc.. toned it down enough to drive around town but , you still know you have zoomies...highly recommended.. easy install as well

I was concerned about fit on my Sanderson Zoomies, but they fit perfect.....still have a great rumble, but not so loud as they were.

It was necessary to grind the OD to fit the Sanderson pipes. I used a belt sander to do the job. All went well. Noise is still up there but that's what it's all about isn't it ?

I'm running big tube (2 1/2") zoomies on K boat. They are obnoxiously loud! These mufflers toned it down somewhat and I think I can get away with cruising this boat now.
Installation went well, however I did spend a full 6 hours grinding down the 16 muffler ends to fit into my pipes. Was worth it though! Jocko
To fit heavy gauge headers, some grinding may be necessary. Built to fit 18 gauge steel pipes.
